Biographical research: book celebrating 50 years of the Educational Model in Latin America

Designed for 2023, the book will bring together practical experiences from the Etievan Educational Model, including over 28 years of work with the education of children, adolescents, adults and the elderly in Brazil and nearly 50 years in Latin America.

The proposal is to serve as a theoretical contribution and support for schools, educators, professionals, researchers and families in their work with education.

Sorbonne Paris Nord University

Since January 2022, research on Etievan Education (which is being carried out on the initiative of the Centros Etievan Association) becomes part of the scope of research, international scientific events, and publications of Le sujet dans la cité, a scientific research center (GIS: Groupement d'Intérêt Scientifique), based at the Sorbonne Paris Nord University, which brings together researchers from different European and Latin American universities dedicated to biographical research in education.

It is a theoretical field with a long tradition in Germany and today it is internationally recognized as an important field of educational sciences (biographic research, biografieforschung, recherche biographique en éducation, (auto)biographical research).

for society

This research aims to create a collection on Etievan Education , in addition to publishing a book with the experiences of people who live or have lived, at some point in their lives, the educational model founded by Nathalie de Salzmann de Etievan.

Bringing together biographical narratives that communicate the living experience of the Etievan Model, the book in progress will remain as a record of this legacy for society.
